About Us

Welcome to Priors Hall – a learning community.

I am incredibly proud to be the Headteacher of our wonderful school. There are many reasons that Priors Hall is a wonderful place to be. As soon as you set foot into the building you are greeted with a smile, whether that be from a child who comes to the school or an adult who works here. We have high expectations of each other and a strong set of values that we all aim to be: kind, resilient, respectful and curious.

We also have a motto that is important to all of us, big or small;  ‘in a world where you can be anything, be kind’.

All of our teaching and support staff  are dedicated to providing an exciting, engaging and safe environment. We are committed to getting to know every child as an individual and to ensuring that their educational experiences are tailored to their own needs.

As a school, children and their families are at the heart of all that we do and all the decisions that we make are in the best interests of our children’s education, well-being and their personal development. We understand the importance of working in partnership with the parents and carers of children in order to ensure maximum progress and happiness.

We follow a curriculum which is carefully planned, progressive and is driven by termly themes. We understand the importance of a vocabulary rich curriculum and therefore ensure that children are immersed in language and literacy through a range of texts across all areas of the curriculum. We teach Humanities, Sciences and Arts subjects within these themes, following the recommendations of the new National Curriculum. We celebrate the achievements of children in all subject areas.

Our school is a two-form entry primary with an amazing nursery, situated in the heart of the ever growing Priors Hall community. We are part of the Inspiring Futures through Learning, a Multi-Academy Trust located in Milton Keynes.

We hope our website provides you with the information you require. We warmly welcome and encourage visits to our school.  The children would be thrilled to show you what makes Priors Hall – a learning community such a wonderful place to be!
